English TV SIGNAL WEAKENS

English TV SIGNAL WEAKENS ( from 15th May 2014)
Reports of weaker signals from the Astra 2E Satellite, which carries BBC & ITV.

This loss of levels has affected most of Spain. It's possible that the satellite has been the subject of "maintenance", which can result in a slight movement of the beam.
This happens every few  weeks, resulting in loss of signal levels. The  satellites need to be kept on station, which is achieved by adjusting the position of them.
Hot weather and humidity can also weaken faint satellite signals.
The help push the signal back over the threshold for picture breakup are:
Better LNB, adjustment of the dish, bigger dish, more sensitive receiver or wait until they have finished their maintenance (this can result in repeated loss of signal levels over the year), don't forget we are right on the edge of the "Footprint".
